Senior FOX QA

We are looking for an experienced Senior FOX QA to join an R&D team and help improve system testing and test automation practices. You will work closely with experienced engineers based in Poland and Switzerland on an advanced communications platform used in network infrastructure environments. We are looking for a technically strong and independent professional who can do more than develop automated tests. You should be able to assess the existing test stack, identify areas for improvement, and recommend practical changes to the testing strategy.

• Analyse the existing test stack and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Pytest.
• Design, implement, and execute system tests.
• Review and improve testing strategies, frameworks, and QA processes.
• Analyse test results, investigate issues, and work with R&D engineers to resolve them.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Poland and Switzerland to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Recommend technical improvements to increase test coverage, efficiency, and system stability.

• Advanced Python skills and practical experience using Python for test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pytest, including developing and maintaining test frameworks.
• Proven experience in system testing and test automation.
• Knowledge of IT networking concepts.
• Ability to independently assess an existing test environment and recommend improvements.
• Experience in developing or improving testing strategies and automation frameworks.
• A proactive and independent approach to problem-solving.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional programming languages, testing tools, and automation frameworks.
• Experience testing complex systems or infrastructure solutions.
• Previous experience in an R&D environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes, potentially for one or two weeks, depending on project needs.
